Mix the dry ingredients with the butter until well combined
Add the beaten egg and milk, mixing until a smooth dough forms
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to 1/2 cm thickness
Cut into rounds of 7 cm diameter
Bake in a hot oven (400°F) until golden brown and crispy
Yield about 20 cookies.
