In a stand mixer, cream the butter and sugar until smooth
Combine the flour and yeast into the butter mixture to form a homogeneous dough
Let it rest for 15 minutes
Preheat the oven to moderate temperature and grease a large baking sheet with butter
With floured hands, shape into balls
Dip in crystal sugar, place on the baking sheet, and bake for 10 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown
Store in an airtight container.
