Season the steak with salt, garlic, and black pepper
Place it in a container, cover it, and let it rest for at least one hour

Heat the pressure cooker over medium heat and sauté the olive oil
Add the steaks to the pan and sprinkle with thyme
Fry for five minutes on each side or until well browned
Add the onions and let them cook for two minutes
Add the water, cover, and reduce heat
Simmer until it starts to boil and then start to clear

Reduce heat and simmer for another 10 minutes or until the meat is tender
Remove from heat and allow pressure to release completely
Open the pan and check if the meat is tender and cooked
Serve immediately.
