Place the popped popcorn with the salt in a large bowl
Mix together the two Karos, vinegar, and butter in a large saucepan
Bring to a boil until the syrup reaches the fine thread stage
Remove from heat, add the butter, and mix just enough to combine
Spoon the syrup over the popcorn and mix contentedly until all the popcorn is coated
Use buttered hands to shape into balls of approximately 1.5 inches in diameter
Form about 30 balls
This is a treat with which you can decorate a table
You can arrange the balls in a pyramid and top it with a happy hat, or also make a hole for each popcorn ball using paper and put a soldier's hat on top.
