Pop the corn, heat it slowly so it doesn't burn
Grease the sides of a pot
Add the sugar, water, salt, cane syrup, and vinegar
Cook until it reaches the hard-ball stage
Add the vanilla
Pour the hot caramel mixture over the warm popcorn, stirring just enough to coat the popcorn evenly
Butter your hands with butter and shape into balls.
