8 ice cream balls
250g semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
16 tablespoons liqueur of your preference

2 tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
16 tablespoons liqueur of your preference
Place the ice cream balls in a baking dish and freeze until firm
Dissolve the chocolate in a double boiler with the butter or margarine, stirring constantly
Remove from heat and water, and stir until cooled
Cover the ice cream balls by spooning the chocolate mixture over each ball
Freeze until hard
To serve, place each ball on a serving plate
Warm a little liqueur, drizzle over the balls, and flambΓ© if desired
Serves 8 people.
