In a mixing bowl, cream the butter or margarine with the sugar until smooth
Add the egg and beat until light and fluffy
Sift together the flour and yeast, then add to the mixture, alternating with the milk
Beat well
Divide the dough evenly into 6-cm diameter molds
Bake in a hot oven (200°F) for 20 minutes or until golden brown
Yield: 12 fritters.
