1 cup of white cake mix or your preferred flavor
1/2 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of mixed fruit, fresh or canned, chopped or mashed

Preheat the oven
Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions
Divide the mixture into individual molds coated with butter and fill each mold (quantities are for each mold)
Fill each mold about 2/3 full
Bake in a moderate oven at 15-20 minutes or until, when lightly touched with your finger, the mixture springs back
Release the fritters from their molds and invert them immediately (so the fruit is on top)
Serve warm with whipped cream
