Preheat the oven to hot temperature (400°F)
Beat the egg, sugar, milk, and melted butter or margarine
Sift together the flour and baking powder and add to the mixture
Mix well
Add the wheat germ and mix lightly
Fill muffin tin molds with 6 cm diameter and 2 cm height and bake for about 20 minutes
Make about 20 fritters.
