Dough
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of warm water
1/4 cup of softened butter
2 teaspoons of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 large eggs
1 tablet of active dry yeast (15g)
Glaze
11/2 cups of sugar
1 cup of orange juice
3/4 cup of water
3 1/2 tablespoons of rum
Accessory
Shape into a round cake with a hole in the center, approximately 9 inches in diameter and capacity for 3 liters.

Dough
Grease the mold with butter
Mix yeast with warm water
Add sugar, salt, eggs, butter, and 1 1/2 cups of flour
Beat in a mixer for 2 minutes or until smooth
Add remaining flour and mix until homogeneous
Place dough in mold and let it rest until doubled in volume
Preheat oven to high temperature
Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden
Remove from mold while still warm and place on a plate
Glaze
Boil sugar with water over high heat for 5 minutes
Add orange juice and rum
Remove from heat
Brush cake with warm glaze
Serve when cooled.
