1/2 cup (stick) of butter
2 cups of wheat flour
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon of sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk
8 slices of pineapple in syrup
1/2 cup of cherries in syrup
3/4 cup of raisins
1 small cup of damson jelly
3 tablespoons of rum
1/2 cup (stick) of butter

Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Reserve
In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder
Add the beaten eggs and mix well
Add the milk and melted butter and mix until smooth. Reserve
Line the bottom and sides of a removable mold with pineapple slices and sprinkle with raisins
Place the cherries in syrup on top of the pineapple
Pour the batter into the mold and bake in a medium oven
Heat the jelly in a saucepan until liquid
Add the rum and mix well
Unmold the cake while still warm and drizzle with jelly.
