For the dough
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon of active dry yeast
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of melted unsalted butter
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
For the glaze
2 egg yolks
1/3 cup of granulated sugar
2 cups of milk
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
100g of dried black plums (without pits)

Preheat the oven to 350°F (medium-hot)
Butter a 20cm diameter opening mold. Reserve
Prepare the dough: in a stand mixer, beat all ingredients until smooth and even. Reserve
Prepare the glaze: in a stand mixer, beat egg yolks with sugar until light and fluffy
Transfer to a medium saucepan, add remaining ingredients, and cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened slightly
Pour the glaze into a bowl, let it cool, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate
Place the dough in the prepared mold
Remove plums from glaze and spread them evenly over the dough, pressing gently to submerge
Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown
Let cool
Demold onto a plate and serve with glaze.
