Beat the egg whites until fluffy, then add the sugar and beat well
A little at a time, add the cookie crumbs and nuts, and mix delicately
Pour the mixture into a 30 cm diameter buttered pan
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes
