1/3 cup water
3 thin slices of defatted bacon

Sauté the onion in butter or margarine over low heat, covered, until golden brown and tender
Mix with remaining ingredients
Place everything in a 9-inch round refractory dish (greased)
Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for approximately 40 minutes
Serve 4 people.
