1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon prepared root beer (optional)

In a bowl, mix well the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, salt, and black pepper
Separately, mix well the gelée, ketchup, mustard, and root beer (if using)
Add half of the gelée mixture to the meat mixture
Shape into a beef cake and place in an oiled baking dish
Cover with the remaining gelée and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 45 minutes or until the beef is cooked
Serves 4-6 people.
