2.25 lbs Ground Beef
1 cup of breadcrumbs
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 eggs
1/2 cup of well-chopped caramelized onions
salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 medium-sized apple, peeled and cored into 8 wedges
2.25 lbs Ground Beef
1 cup of breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 medium-sized apple, peeled and cored into 8 wedges
Mix all ingredients except the ketchup and apple slices together
Shape a beef cake in a baking dish
Insert the apple slices into the beef cake
Glaze with ketchup
Bake in a preheated moderate oven (340°F) for about 60 minutes, basting occasionally with the liquid from the baking dish
Let it rest for 8 hours.
