Preheat the oven to 200°C
Place melted butter and sugar in a blender
Blend well
Add the remaining ingredients, one by one, and blend after each addition
Pour into a greased and floured cake pan and bake in a medium oven until a toothpick comes out clean
Remove from the oven, let cool, and remove from pan
Topping
Heat all the topping ingredients over low heat and stir until slightly thickened
Pour over the cake and sprinkle with chocolate granules.
