Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)
Butter and flour a 9-inch springform pan
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, and salt
In a stand mixer, beat the melted butter on medium speed for 30 seconds
Add the sugar, vanilla extract, and beat until smooth and creamy
Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk, beating on low speed to combine
In another bowl, whip the egg whites until stiff and fold into the previous mixture
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Let cool for 10 minutes before serving at room temperature.
