1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup of chopped nuts
2 cups of clear seedless raisins
1 cup of crystallized fruits, chopped
1 1/2 cups of black plums, pitted and chopped
4 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of grated orange zest
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Lemon glaze:
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1/4 cup of lemon juice

Mix the nuts, raisins, crystallized fruits, black plums, and flour in a bowl
Beat the eggs in another bowl until frothy, then add the sugar, vanilla extract, and grated orange zest
Beat well
Add the egg mixture to the fruit mixture and mix well
Pour into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake in a moderate oven (325°F) for 30-35 minutes
To make the lemon glaze: Combine the powdered sugar and lemon juice in a saucepan
Heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved
Brush the warm cake with the lemon glaze while still warm
Cool completely before cutting into squares.
