Preheat the oven to 350°F
Grease a ring mold with butter, 22 cm in diameter. Reserve
In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients
Transfer to the mold and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the powdered sugar, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon
Add the water slowly, whisking constantly until the glaze dissolves
Add the vanilla extract
Pour the glaze over the cake while it's still warm and let it cool before cutting.
