1/2 cup of sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
1/2 cup of sour cream
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
2 cups of all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 cup of finely chopped nuts (palm, cashew, etc.)
1/2 cup of finely chopped dried apricots
orange zest, grated
2 tablespoons of orange juice
1/2 cup of sugar

Mix the sugar and egg yolks
Combine the sour cream and baking soda, then add to the eggs
Sift the flour with salt and add to the mixture above
Add the nuts, dried apricots, and orange zest
Finally, add the orange juice
Allow to fall into spoonfuls (using a 1/4 cup measure) in plenty of hot fat
Fry until golden brown
Flip to cook evenly
Remove from fat, place on absorbent paper, and dust with sugar
If desired, quickly pass each fritter through flour to prevent the grease from penetrating.
