Peel the bananas, remove the seeds and cut them into small pieces
In a large bowl, combine the bananas, Kirsch, and lemon zest
Let it sit for 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to medium temperature

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, yeast, cinnamon, and ground cloves
In an electric mixer, beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla extract until light and fluffy
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition

Add the flour mixture, milk, and mashed bananas to the butter mixture
Mix after each addition
Transfer the batter to a prepared cake pan and smooth the surface with the back of a spoon
Farofa Topping

Combine all the ingredients with your fingertips until you get a coarse farofa texture
Distribute it evenly over the cake and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes
Dust with confectioner's sugar and serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
