1 cup of butter
3/4 cup of sugar
2 eggs
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of grated lemon zest
1 large pumpkin, peeled and cut into thin slices
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1 cup of butter

Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add the eggs and beat well
Mix in the flour and baking powder, beating always
Add the grated lemon zest and mix well
Pour into a 25 cm round cake pan, greased and floured
Cover with pumpkin slices and sprinkle with sugar mixed with cinnamon
Bake at 200°C for about 35 minutes or until golden brown
Remove from oven and dust with sugar and cinnamon
Cut into 12 slices.
