Grease a 25 cm diameter cake pan with butter
Preheat the oven to 220°C and prepare the batter while it's preheating
Whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt
Add the cornmeal and mix well
Gradually add the milk and eggs, whisking until smooth
Remove the cake pan from the oven and place chopped green onion on top of the melted butter
Let it rest for 1 minute until the onion starts to caramelize
Combine the onion and butter with the prepared batter
Mix well and pour into the greased cake pan
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown
Let it cool for 15 minutes.
