Mix the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar
Add the butter or margarine in small pieces and mix with a fork until it forms a crumbly mixture
Gradually add the milk while stirring until it forms a soft dough
Pour onto a floured surface and knead just enough to form a smooth ball
Roll out to a thickness of 1 cm
Place in an ungreased baking dish
Baste the top with melted butter and bake in a preheated oven (400°F) for 20 minutes
Cut while still warm and serve immediately, topped with whipped cream or strawberries if desired.
