Preparation
Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder
Add to the mixture and mix well
Well done
Add the chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to medium temperature
Grease the loaf pans with butter and dust with all-purpose flour
Divide the dough between the two loaf pans
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
