2 ripe pears, peeled and cut into goms (3 times)

Grease a round cake pan with a diameter of 9 inches
In a bowl, combine the melted butter and 3/4 cup of sugar
Beat until well mixed
Add eggs one at a time, beating continuously until the mixture is smooth and fluffy
Add the flour mixed with baking powder
Beat until just combined
Add milk and beat until well mixed
Pour into the prepared pan
Arrange pear slices in a circular pattern, with the skin side up
Dust with remaining sugar
Bake in a preheated moderate temperature oven (170°C) for 30-35 minutes
Let cool slightly before removing from pan
Serve with Damascus gelatin on top.
