350g of fresh Minas cheese, unsalted, or ricotta cheese

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder or common sugar
2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of grated coconut

To assemble the cake

Bake the oven to a moderate temperature (170°F)
In a bowl, combine the crushed biscuits and melted butter or margarine
Mix well
Grease the bottom and sides of a 22cm diameter opening mold
Bake for 10 minutes
Reduce the oven temperature to 150°F
In a large bowl, beat the Minas cheese or ricotta cheese until creamy, adding sugar and melted chocolate slowly
Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time
Mix well
Spread this mixture over the cake batter passed through
Bake for about an hour or until a knife inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean
Let it cool
To assemble the topping: heat gently in a small pan with butter, heavy cream, sugar, and egg yolks until thickened
Stir constantly
Remove from heat, add vanilla extract and coconut
Let it cool
Assemble the cake by placing the topping over it and refrigerate for at least 3 hours
Release the cake's edges with a knife before removing the mold.
