Combine the water and pork cracklings in a saucepan and bring to medium heat until it forms a thread
Remove from heat, add the butter, crushed pork cracklings, and mix well
Let cool and reserve
Beat the egg whites until fluffy, add the egg yolks and beat well
Gradually add the warm mixture to the eggs while beating constantly with a wooden spoon, until it forms a frothy mixture
Add the sifted flour and beat well
Pour this mixture into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish and bake in a preheated moderate oven (170°C) for 20-25 minutes
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar, let cool and cut into squares.
