One spoon of baking soda dissolved in one spoon of hot water

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and beat well (can be done with an electric mixer) for about 15 minutes until you get a smooth mixture
Pour the batter into a greased and floured 23 x 35 cm pan and let it bake without disturbing
Let it cool and cut into triangles or squares
Note: This cake is traditional from the St
John's celebrations and should always be made with honey, as they say that St
John himself used to feed on almost exclusively wild honey.
