Milk Chocolate
8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
8 large eggs
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
Filled and Topped with Whipped Cream
5 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
1 liter heavy whipping cream, chilled
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
200g maraschino cherries in syrup
2 tablespoons cherry liqueur
Garnish
200g dark chocolate chips, finely grated
300g milk chocolate chips, finely grated
Cornstarch for dusting
Milk Chocolate

2 tablespoons cherry liqueur

200g dark chocolate chips, finely grated
300g milk chocolate chips, finely grated
Cornstarch for dusting
Milk Chocolate: Beat the butter with the eggs until a smooth and fluffy mixture forms
Dust aside, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, yeast, and mix into the batter without beating, stirring slowly from bottom to top
Pour into a greased and floured pan, and bake in a medium oven
Let cool and unmold
Filled with Whipped Cream: Beat the confectioner's sugar with the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form
Set aside half in the refrigerator
Strain the cherries and set aside separately the fruit and syrup
Mix the syrup with the liqueur and set aside
Divide the batter into three equal parts, horizontally
Soak the batters with a little of the syrup mixture and spread half of the whipped cream over it
Dust with chopped maraschino cherries and dark chocolate chips
Cover with another part of the batter and repeat the process
Spread the remaining whipped cream over the cake and top with grated milk chocolate
Dust with cornstarch and decorate with cherries
Serve chilled.
