30g of active dry yeast (available at supermarkets)
1 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of salt
6 tablespoons of sugar
5 eggs
1/2 cup of butter
6 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
100g of guava in cubes
120g of coalho cheese in cubes
In a bowl, dissolve the yeast according to the manufacturer's instructions
Add the milk, salt, sugar, eggs, and butter
Mix well and gradually add the flour until a smooth and homogeneous dough forms
Assembly: divide the dough into balls and fill half of them with guava and the other half with cheese
Arrange the balls in layers
Leave some space between each layer and do not overfill the form
When you finish the last layer, cover it with a cloth and let it rest until the dough has doubled in volume
Bake in a medium oven preheated to temperature
Let it cool and serve with your hands, simply removing the balls.
