1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup baking powder
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup chocolate liqueur or orange liqueur

Preheat the oven to 170°F (moderate)
Mix together the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, yeast, and salt
Add in the milk, melted butter or margarine, orange zest, and pecans
Mix well
Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish
Mix the sugar and 1/4 cup chocolate liqueur or orange liqueur, and sprinkle over the cake
Mix together the boiling water and chocolate liqueur or orange liqueur, and pour over the cake
Bake for 45 minutes
Cut into squares while still warm
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired
