Peel, cook, and chop the shrimp
In a frying pan, melt the butter or margarine with the curry powder
Add the chopped shrimp to a blender or food processor
Blend on high speed and slowly add the melted butter with curry powder
Mix well
Place in a bowl and season to taste with lemon juice and salt
Cut a small lid from each fritter
Fill each fritter with the stuffing (about 1 1/2 spoons per fritter) and replace the lid
