1/2 cup of warm water
60g of butter or margarine
1 pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup of warm water
60g of butter or margarine
1 pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
Pour the warm water over the butter in a saucepan
Stir until the butter has melted
Add the salt and baking powder
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer
Add the flour all at once
Raise the saucepan off the heat or lower the flame and whisk vigorously with a wooden spoon until the mixture detaches from the sides of the pan
Remove from heat, add eggs one at a time, whisking vigorously until the batter is thick and shiny
Let it fall into ladle-sized portions (scoop or spoon) onto a greased baking sheet
Bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes
Reduce oven temperature slightly and bake until morsels are well done
Let cool
Make a lateral incision and fill with whipped cream
Dip the tips of the morsels into melted chocolate mixed with butter and milk
These morsels can also be found pre-made at bakeries and confectioneries.
