1 bunch of broccoli
boiling water
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 red peppers, diced
1 tablespoon grated lime zest
1/2 cup chopped green onion
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
salt and pepper to taste

Remove tough stalks from the broccoli and trim off larger leaves
Wash thoroughly
Cut each stalk in half
Place the broccoli in a pot
Add some water
Cook covered until the stalks are tender
Sauté the green onion and red peppers in butter or margarine until softened
Simmer for 5 minutes
Remove from heat
Stir in lime zest, juice, salt, and pepper to taste
Drain broccoli, arrange on a platter, and spoon the pepper mixture over the top
Serve 4 portions.
