1/2 cup of broccoli florets
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
salt and black pepper to taste

Wash the broccoli, leaving the stems long
Cook in boiling water with salt until tender but still crisp
Before serving, melt the butter or margarine in a pan, add the broccoli stalks, and mix gently
Season with salt and black pepper to taste
