1 1/3 cups of unsalted butter, at room temperature
360 grams dark chocolate chips
6 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (270g)
3 1/3 cups pecan meal (600g)
150g coarsely chopped pecans

In a double boiler, melt the butter and chocolate over low heat
Remove from heat and stir in eggs until well combined
Mix well to combine

Preheat oven to medium temperature
Add flour and pecan meal to the chocolate mixture; mix with a spatula until just incorporated
Stir in chopped pecans, being careful not to overmix
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking mat or parchment paper and smooth the top with an offset spatula
Bake for 45 minutes or until the surface is firm
Remove from oven and let cool completely before cutting into squares.
