Preheat the oven to medium temperature

In a small bowl supported by a hot water-filled pot, place the chocolate and let it sit for 5 minutes without stirring

In a stand mixer, beat the eggs until light and fluffy
Gradually add the sugar and beat until well mixed
Add the oil, chocolate, and vanilla, and mix until combined
Add the flour, baking powder, pecans, and mix until a smooth batter forms

The center of the brownie should still be slightly undercooked
