1 tablespoon of unsweetened gelatin
1/4 cup of cold coffee
2 egg yolks
2/3 cup of sweetened condensed milk
1 pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups of strong hot coffee
2 well-beaten egg whites
1 tablespoon of butter
1 cup of ground cornflakes
1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup
1 tablespoon of unsweetened gelatin

Soften the gelatin in cold coffee
Beat the egg yolks slightly; add sweetened condensed milk and salt
Dissolve the gelatin with hot coffee, and slowly add to the mixture of egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk
Refrigerate until the mixture starts to thicken
Fold in well-beaten egg whites
Pour into a cake pan
Melt the butter and add ground cornflakes and honey or maple syrup; sprinkle over the coffee mixture, then refrigerate until serving time
To serve, cut like a cake, 4 portions
