For the chocolate mixture
150 g of semisweet chocolate, chopped
6 tablespoons of unsalted butter, cut into small pieces (75 g)
1 cup of sugar (180 g)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2/3 cup of all-purpose flour (80 g)
1 pinch of salt
For the cheese mixture
1 package of cream cheese (227 g), softened
1/3 cup of sugar (60 g)
1/2 teaspoon of grated orange zest
1 large egg
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour

Preheat the oven to 350°F (moderate heat)
Grease a square baking dish or pan with butter and dust with flour. Reserve
Prepare the chocolate mixture: in a saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth
Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes
Add sugar and vanilla extract
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to obtain a thick and smooth batter
Add flour and salt, and mix
Spread the mixture in the prepared pan and reserve
Prepare the cheese mixture: in a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and orange zest, mixing until smooth
Add egg and flour, beating with a fork to obtain a smooth mixture
With a large spoon, spread the cheese mixture over the chocolate mixture and, using a knife, make circular motions to mix the two mixtures
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown, inserting a toothpick that comes out clean
Let cool in the pan and cut into squares
