2 cups of cubed pecans without shells

Place the pecan cubes in a 25 x 15 cm refrigerator-safe mold
In a saucepan, combine milk, butter, and sugar
Bring to almost boiling point
Gradually add lightly beaten eggs, stirring constantly
Pour this mixture over the pecan cubes
Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes
Remove cover, whisk in vanilla extract, and mix
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) preheated for about 30 minutes
Sprinkle with shredded coconut and bake for an additional 30 minutes until firm
Let it cool before serving, decorated with gelatin at the time of service
Serves 8
Note: For preparing in the microwave, reduce milk to half and heat butter, sugar, and pecans in high power for 3 minutes
Then follow the recipe normally, cover with plastic wrap (Magipack or Polopack) and leave a small opening
Microwave on medium power for 15 minutes, sprinkle with coconut, and bake for an additional 3 minutes.
