Cut the baguettes into 1 cm thick slices and toast them in a hot oven just until golden brown
Drizzle with olive oil and rub garlic (optional) onto the bread

Cook 2 or 3 artichoke hearts
Drain and blend the artichokes in a mixer with 2 tablespoons olive oil, 10 sprigs of parsley, 1/2 clove of garlic, 1 tablespoon crushed almonds, salt, and black pepper to taste.
