8 tablespoons of mustard
8 slices of white bread
8 slices of cheddar cheese, Gouda, Italian, or Minas cream cheese

Add the sausages to a pot with boiling water
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes
Spread 1 tablespoon of melted butter or margarine with mustard on bread slices
Place in an ungreased baking dish
Top with cheese slices and position sausage diagonally over bread slices
Lift the two ends and tie with toothpicks
Brush with remaining melted butter
Preheat oven to a very hot temperature (250°F)
Put sandwiches in the hot oven and bake for 5 minutes
You will have 8 sandwiches.
