In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients, except for the chocolate, with 1/2 cup of water
Bring to a boil, then remove from heat
Add the chocolate and let it sit, covered, for 15 minutes
Stir well until smooth
Let it cool to room temperature for 30 minutes
Serve with your preferred ice cream
