750 g of shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 green peppers, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, mashed
1 large can of crushed tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of toasted bread with butter

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat
Add the onion, peppers, garlic, salt, and pepper
Stir well
Cook slowly for 10 minutes or until the peppers are soft
Add the crushed tomatoes; cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes
Add the raw shrimp; cover and cook again for about 10 minutes
Serve hot in individual serving dishes over toasted bread
Yield: 4 servings.
