500 g of Maria cookies
1 can of condensed milk
2 cups of dark chocolate chips (180 g)
2 tablespoons of brandy
1 and 1/2 cups of melted butter (300 g)
1 cup of whole almonds, with skin (150 g)
2/3 cup of black raisins, without seeds (100 g)
For the topping
1/2 cup of dark chocolate
2/3 cup of melted butter (130 g)
500 g of Maria cookies

For the topping

Crush the cookies into large pieces and place in a bowl
Add the condensed milk, chocolate, and brandy
Mix well
Add the melted butter and mix with a spoon until smooth
Add the almonds and raisins
Form large balls with the mixture and squeeze tightly
Place the mixture on a surface lined with plastic wrap, forming a log of 47 x 7 cm in length
Wrap the log with plastic wrap and place in the freezer to set
Prepare the topping: mix the chocolate and butter until smooth and creamy
Remove the log from the freezer
Spread the topping evenly over the top
Place a bowl of water and ice to go moistening hands and spreading the topping
This makes it easier to spread
Leave the topping to dry in the freezer before wrapping with plastic wrap
Serve 10 minutes before serving, with whipped cream or chantilly
