4 large plantains, peeled and cut in half lengthwise

Melt the butter in a large frying pan
Add the turmeric and curry powder and cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 3 minutes
Add the plantains (one beside the other) and season with salt
Shake the pan frequently to prevent the plantains from sticking to the bottom
Flip the plantains gently without breaking with two wooden spoons
Add the yogurt, increase the heat to medium, and cook for another 3-5 minutes, shaking the pan
Serve in four quarters.
