1/2 finely chopped onion

2 tablespoons of olive oil
400g cube steak
1/2 finely shredded cabbage
Salt, black pepper, and thyme to taste

Sauté the onion and garlic in hot olive oil
Add the cube steak and cook until well browned
Remove from the pan and keep warm
In the same pan, add the cabbage and stir for 1 minute
Return the steak to the pan and season with salt, black pepper
Sprinkle with thyme and serve immediately.
