Prepare the fire
Wash the bacon, wrap it in a clean cloth and squeeze well to remove excess water
Sprinkle with salt and cut into 5x2 cm rectangles
Wrap the beef cubes with the bacon fat
Assemble the skewers by alternating four beef cubes with a laurel leaf
Place on a high grill, over charcoal without flames, and cook for 5 minutes or until the bacon fat melts
